Another great game of my childhood is finally running in a decent resolution and at a playable framerate within the Win95 VM. "Jedi Knight - Dark Forces II" was the first shooter I played intensively online through a 33.6K modem. It also had an awesome single player campaign!

OK, so now that Samus will wield the force, er, I mean, psychic powers in #Metroid Prime 4, how long until Nintendo introduces their own version of the #ysalamiri so as to deprive her of them for plot and gameplay-related purposes?

(Ysalamiri are a creature from the #StarWars “expanded universe” that can, more or less, inhibit force powers in their vicinity. Introduced in the Thrawn trilogy of books to depower Luke when needed, also found in the #JediKnight series of games for e.g. multiplayer)

Looks like the logo for the new Marvel prequel-era Star Wars comic series "Jedi Knights" was designed as an homage to the box art logo of LucasArts' 1997 game Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II.
