OnurThis short epic once again confirmed that historical fiction, bigger half being “fiction” and the smaller half “historical”, is my favourite genre. Add a pinch of magical realism and I am hooked.
Such beautiful storytelling, like 1001 Nights set in Europe.
Someone across me on the overground is reading Jeanette Winterson’s “Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit”. I naively get filled with hope for the future whenever I see someone reading a great book.
