Foreign actors from India and the People’s Republic of China allegedly interfered in more than one race for the leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada, says an intelligence report tabled in the House of Commons on Monday.
I find it strange to have to say it again, but #JeanCharest is a corrupt authoritarian who voted unconstitutional laws to crush a social movement. Thousands were arrested and a lot more were hurt due to police brutality. He's not the "moderate" you think he is, though he indeed does appear more polite than Poilièvre.
A few years ago, when some Canadian newspapers fell into their "Québec is the most corrupt province in Canada" trend, it was (not only but) mainly because of him.
We still don't know how much damage he caused in Québec.
Remember this when people will defend Christy Clark again, because she chose the "lesser evil" or some other ignorant idiocy by supporting Charest in the last race for CPC's leadership.
