My left knee gave out on me very early this morning.

It still doesn’t want to cooperate, so I had a no cooking lunch outside with my better half.

Yes, I made it outside - I do need fresh air from time to time.

My better half ate fruit, I had a #CocoEarth #ButterChicken & #JasmineRice #microwavemeal - unmicrowaved.

It was very nice! I poured the rice, then the sauce into an old plastic #drinkbottle I’d cut the top off. A long camp spoon to mix & voila!

It gave my #lunch #camping vibes LOL

This evening's meal: curried #jasmine #rice #patties , #vegetables and mashed #potatoes / sweet potatoes.

The patties were leftovers from a rice #curry I cooked for yesterday's evening meal which had jasmine rice, chopped Sanitarium Foods Nutolene, chopped potatoes, chopped carrot, stock powder, Italian mixed herbs. This morning I noticed the curry was gluggy and binding together very well, so I thought I would try making patties from the leftovers. To make them all I had to do was form patties which were then covered lightly with #besan #flour , then #fried in a frypan.

My second batch of rice balls came out perfect (of substance).
I can't recommend this enough. Just boil your long grained rice as you normally do (though you can add spices, if you like) and then wrap individual spoonfuls tightly in cellophane and let these rest for a couple of hours in the fridge, when they have cooled enough.
