Hello from Japan! Going through a bit of a busy stretch, but trying to relax with a set of purification fountains at temples and shrines in the Tokyo area. Often, the faucets are dragon-shaped, and it is thought that using ‘water that flows from the dragon god's mouth’ enhances the cleansing effect.

Takasaki Byakue Dai-Kannon is a 41.8 meters-tall Kannon statue at Jigen-in Temple in Takasaki, Gunma Prefecture. Approaching it is a long lane lined with Showa-era gift shops and restaurants.
