I do know what I’m doing, but the suggested quantities, and the #CurryRoux to water ratio in particular are important and vary brand to brand of #JapaneseCurry.

Made a Curry again .. a japanese one .. again ..

This was hands down the best Japanese curry I’ve ever cooked — a total knockout.
Slow-simmered for over an hour, the sauce started as a bold Kikkoman Teriyaki BBQ base, just thinned with water and a cheeky splash of Worcestershire (yeah yeah, I know... not exactly traditional, but trust me 😏).

It cooked down to this rich, glossy dream that hugged every sliver of beef and potato like it meant it. Paired with fluffy basmati rice in my favorite bowl... and yeah, I might’ve moaned a little with the first bite. No shame.
This one’s going straight into the “hell yes, make again” folder 🔥🍛

And be careful... this curry doesn’t just stain your tongue, it stains your soul.
Thick, dark, dripping with umami and just the right amount of “ooh yes, daddy Worcestershire”...
The beef didn’t just melt, it whispered on the tongue, slow and sinful.
You weren’t ready. But it came anyway 😈🔥
