remember when you were told in shibari workshops to be careful when folding ropes in half? si that when you prolong it doesn't look like the picture below? like, you will not go to shibari valhala?
two reasons to do it, also with varied lengths of the difference:
1-it will reduce wear at the bight and/or mid of the rope, so it is an ecological and (financial) accessibility argument. not everybody can buy new ropes every 3 months.
2- unperfect ends will explode the brain of every shibari zealot in the room. highly encouraged from my side. no, serious, we need less dogmatic rope practices, more humor.
3-if you still don't like how it looks, there are a lot of amazing things you can do with those extra cms, including bows.
