Two things regarding the #JapanGP #F1 race today (no spoilers):
I know a lot of people don't like the active aero/overtake tech as opposed to the old DRS, but I'm really enjoying watching these races because it makes them a lot more unpredictable (IMO). Jury's still out on whether it's an overall good thing, but I am currently enjoying it very much.
It's pretty awesome to see the Japanese martials and various support personnel using the big, traditional brooms that look like they were made by someone's grandmother in a small mountain village as opposed to the modern push-brooms or mass-produced factory brooms us 'Muricans are used to seeing. The traditionalism is a small but very nice touch of detail in such a hyper-modern sport.
