What have I been doing lately, you ask? Well, yet another member of my household has been hit by covid this summer, so I’m staying close to home, masking when I go out, and testing often. Which means I’m knitting, crocheting, and reading more of what I’ve already shared: the Beachcomber shawl, the Delft blanket, and the Wraith Kings books.

Persian Tiles Blanket (pattern by Janie Crow). I used 18 colours of Stylecraft dk that I had left from a previous project and some Aldi dk. Colours are all on my ravelry project page, too many to type here 🙂 (allybobbless) The border is part Persian tiles and then the Nuts About Squares border. Started August 3rd, completed August 16th.

First block for the Spirit of Flora Blanket finished! 🧶

I'm glad this isn't my first ever crochet project. The photo's in the digital magazine are not as sharp as I'd wish them to be, and the textual descriptions don't spend any more words than necessary.
Loving the design though. And after a whole mosaic blanket (of which I'm just finishing up the border) the different stitches and shapes are a very welcome change.
