Disgraced National MP turned brothel keeper Jami-Lee Ross has lifted his head above the parapet and decided to run for the Howick local board. He says his brothel employs 40 people. Just listen as a forked tongue describes his operation.

"His escort agency, is, he says, “In effect, an advertising agency and a short term room hire agency. The individuals that work there, they're all independent contractors. They come and go whenever they please. They provide a service to people that are willing to pay for a perfectly legal service, and we provide rooms for them to conduct their work.”

I hope the good burghers of Howick send Ross a strong message and let him know that his public image rates slightly lower than slime.
