Just a reminder: for this bunch of Christian nationalists, the end game is that Israel will be the site of the ultimate showdown between good and evil, at which Jews will burn or convert, and after which Jesus will rule the world for a thousand years from a throne on the Temple Mount.

And there’s little doubt who’s good and who’s evil either. So #Israel gets a carte blanche. Whatever the crime: occupation, starvation, genocide, bombing and indiscriminate killing of civilians, it’s “self-defense.” No #UN resolutions ever enforced, no war crimes ever prosecuted, no questions ever asked.

This US Christian nationalist fan club actually wants the war to happen, destroy everything, get the Jews back in the Holy Land, and set the end times in motion. It’s the Middle Ages all over again.

As #JamesTalarico said recently: “there is nothing Christian about #ChristianNationalism,” nor is the anything Jewish about #Zionism. Just a hollow shell of death and destruction.
