Erinnert sich noch jemand an die Serie "Viper"? Wahrscheinlich nicht.
Aber eventuell an den Hauptdarsteller James McCaffrey.
Und vor allem Gamern dürfte der Name etwas sagen. Er sprach den Charakter 'Max Payne' in den gleichnamigen Spielen.
Leider ist er verstummt.

I was super sad to hear about the passing of James McCaffrey. I never met the man, but he was a superb VA whos voice has been a large part of my life for over 20 years now.

He did sound somehow tired, even fragile, as Alex Casey in Alan Wake 2, but his passing is still a shock and a huge loss for all of us.

He will always be with us as Max Payne, Zachariah Trench and Alex Casey.

Rest in peace.

It's a shame that James McCaffrey died from multiple myeloma at 65, fuck cancer.

I think it will be hard to replace the original voice of Max Payne. His line delivery was what made Max Payne 3 better than what it was.

It's my suspicion that his health what was didn't allow him to be in the flesh in Alan Wake 2, but at least we got his last hurrah.
