Jackie & Shadow's eggs got broken really quickly, which is super sad, but since it happened so early in the season, there's a chance they'll lay a new clutch and try again. They've been hanging around the nest a bit more the last few days, and mating a lot, so fingers crossed...
Jackie & Shadow's season has officially started! Jackie laid her first egg a couple of days ago, and Shadow made sure to get a good look at it when he came by for a visit later. This is the nest that got me hooked on bird nest live cams, so I'm excited to start a new season with them again.
