I just did my first "massive" #OSM edit:
73 nodes had imprecise tags, so I first contacted the original author, got the go from them that they agreed my proposed tags were more precise, so I loaded all the nodes in #JOSM, manually created a custom preset and applied it to modify the tags of all nodes at once.
Having never used JOSM before this was fun.
It's sad though that JOSM uses such an antiquated UI framework that doesn't play well with Wayland/Flatpaks.
