I just did my first "massive" #OSM edit:

73 nodes had imprecise tags, so I first contacted the original author, got the go from them that they agreed my proposed tags were more precise, so I loaded all the nodes in #JOSM, manually created a custom preset and applied it to modify the tags of all nodes at once.

Having never used JOSM before this was fun.

It's sad though that JOSM uses such an antiquated UI framework that doesn't play well with Wayland/Flatpaks.

In fact, #JOSM is very well suited for downloading #OSM data.
Open the download dialog in Josm.
Use the mouse wheel to zoom and hold down the right mouse button to navigate to the desired area.
Select the area with the left mouse button and click Download.
If too much data is requested, an error message will appear.
In that case, select a smaller area and repeat the process.
The data will then be merged into the same layer and can be edited and saved locally.

Mein Herangehensweise wäre ja, es einfach erst mal sein zu lassen, bevor ich ich irgendwelchen Quatsch in die Karte tusche.

Ich denke mal die beiden #JOSM Workshops kann ich gut und gerne das ganze Jahr über halten...

Aber nächstes Jahr brauche ich anderes. Aber in diesem #OpenStreetMap Universum gibt es sooo viel Dinge die ich vorstellen kann. Gerne auch immer mit JOSM in Kombination, dann kann ich die Domain weiter verwenden ;)

Habe da noch viele Ideen!

Sooo, habe beide #JOSM Workshops und das DJ Set auf der #GPN24 abgesagt.

Die Webseite muss ich noch ändern.

Immerhin geht es mir aktuell ein bisschen besser als gestern... Mir ist noch nicht so ganz klar, was jetzt los ist. Aber so super schlimm wirds nicht sein... hoffe ich zumindest.

FilletTools is now available for installation in JOSM through the plugin list in the settings. If you tested the first version, the file was named fillettools.jar, so please go and manually remove it from the folder. This is to avoid duplicate files — the file is now named FilletTools.jar.

In the latest version, it is possible to round off corners at the junction point of two lines while preserving the node history.
