I am probably a (very) biased #JL99 fan, but I was of the mind that he spearheaded the development from a rider side that put Ducati where they are now. That the changes he suggested in 2017 benefited first Dovi (who'd never really shown any significant success at the top level prior to that point) and then himself. Am I off base here? And yes, I am fully aware that the REAL genuis is Gigi!
