I would like to hope that JK Rowling is taking some time to reflect on her shitty behavior, but that's the steamrolled inner child within me grasping for straws that she can come back from her bigotry.
Even if she did, the damage she's done is beyond irredeemable and also Harry Potter has its own problems besides her transphobia. I will also hold nostalgia for the book and film series of my childhood but the human rights of real people must take precedent.
