Merchants Cove is a beautiful, heavily asymmetric Euro game where every player is basically playing a completely different game. I've tested 5 of the 11 merchants so far and I already know this collection is going to keep me busy for a long time! 😊

February was short but packed with board games!
New discoveries this month: Proving Grounds (so tense with that timer! 😅), Imperial Miners, and Sparks. Plus more time with Harmonies, Merchant Cove, Conservas and Sylvion.
13 plays, 7 games — not bad for a short month! 🎉

Welcome to the Moon is a flip-and-write campaign game I'm loving! 8 adventures that tell the story of colonizing the moon, from ship prep to mining operations. Each scenario introduces new mechanics while building on the last. Simple rules, 25-30 min plays, reusable sheets. It's probably my favorite flip-and-write despite the genre not being my usual pick!

What were your favorite plays last month?
I've played Obsession 3 times with different families and rate it 9/10.
This Victorian hand management game has you hosting events, managing servants, and courting the Fairchild orphans. You select which estate improvements to buy but not which guests you acquire. Reputation is crucial, it gates access to better cards.
Solo games last 45 minutes with scalable difficulty. Component quality is excellent.

I've played Troyes Dice 4 times with scores of 50, 46, 56, and 64—the progression shows the learning curve in action. This Roll & Write has you building a medieval city through strategic dice placement. The transparent dice mechanic is unique, and combos are satisfying. Component quality could be better, but gameplay is solid.
Rating: 8/10.
