Last week, on Disneyland's 70th anniversary, a new verse was added to It's a Small World that Richard Sherman had written in 2023 and was revealed in a short film released last year as a tribute to the Sherman Brothers. That film bagan playing in the Main Street Cinema on the same day.

I didn't have a chance to ride the ride or see the film on the day, so I went back that weekend to do just that. I rode the ride immediately are watching the fireworks from in front of Small World. As I was exiting the ride, the Tapestry of Happiness projection show was playing. There's a section near the end that features Small World and the first verse of the song. However, that section now includes the new verse instead.

A few pictures of the #TapestryOfHappiness projection show on the facade of #ItsASmallWorld . I have to admit I was a bit underwhelmed based on what little I'd heard about it. There was one segment I liked but it went by so fast that I didn't get a picture. I'll probably watch the show again sometime and see if it lands better for me. #Disneyland70 #Disneyland
