On #ThisDayInHistory in 1934, the #AbyssinianCrisis deepened. A border dispute between #Ethiopia and #ItalianSomaliland led to a clash at #WalWal (#UalUal), to-day Ethiopian but then contested. 157 were killed in a skirmish later used as pretext for #Mussolini's bloody invasion.
