Israel was never interested in a two state solution. It has been a convenient way of obfuscating their true aims, (which, by the way, Netanjahu and State representatives have made perfectly clear, multiple times, just not in English) that they want the removal of the Palestinian people. As long as they keep repeating the mantra of two state solution, western press and governments performed a collective cognitive dissonance of believing Isreal believes the things it says, as long as they say it in English.
People living under apartheid will never be free and will never accept their occupier.
