In 2012, 174 UN member states wanted nuclear weapons inspectors in Israel.

"The resolution, approved by a vote of 174 to six with six abstentions, calls on Israel to join the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty (NPT) "without further delay" and open its nuclear facilities to inspection by the International Atomic Energy Agency. Those voting against were Israel, the US, Canada, Marshall Islands, Micronesia and Palau".

UN tells Israel to let in nuclear inspectors

As nuclear peace talks are cancelled, overwhelming vote by general assembly calls for Israel to join nonproliferation treaty

The Guardian

In 2021 #Israel was expanding their #NuclearWeapons research facilities – "A dig about the size of a soccer field and likely several stories deep now sits just meters (yards) from the aging reactor at the Shimon Peres Negev Nuclear Research Center near the city of Dimona. The facility is already home to decades-old underground laboratories that reprocess the reactor’s spent rods to obtain weapons-grade plutonium for Israel’s nuclear bomb program."

Asking Palestine to disarm long term when Israel won't even give up their #WMDs is not a reasonable request.

Whose job will it be to defend Palestinians against Israel? Hamas' #alQassam are arguably counterproductive, but Palestinians need someone competent, not nothing. You can't leave 6 million civilians (12 million if you include refugees in neighboring countries) undefended against one of the world's largest militaries who are supported by the world's only supper power.

There needs to be someone with the authority to shoot back as the Israeli military if they try to attack Palestinians. Someone really needed to be able to snipe back at the Golani Brigade

And what do they even mean by "surrender"? surrender to what?

If Israel export their terror problem by #deporting the #militants and leadership like they did in the 1960s and 1970s then Israel should be held responsible when we see a 21st century resurrection of Black September and the PFLP-EO (at best) if they completely dismantle the current resistance there's a risk it will be hijacked by lunatics like ISIS

Or do they just want "Hamas" to line up against a wall and let Israel do what the IDF did to Egyptians repeatedly? and they define "Hamas" so broadly that, as far as, i can tell #Hamas is just the Israeli word for "Palestinian", which they refuse to say in English https://www.newarab.com/opinion/who-was-responsible-israels-1967-massacre (the uncensored version might have been in Haaretz Hebrew later if I am remembering right, but that's paywalled anyway)

Who was responsible for Israel's 1967 massacre?

Comment: Richard Silverstein asks: Why did the Israeli army censor try to hide a story that is a half century old?
