The #DomeoftheRock (known also as Qubbat al-Sakhrah in Arabic) is an Islamic shrine located on the #TempleMount in #Jerusalem. This shrine dates to the 7th century, and is the oldest extant #Islamicbuilding in the world. The Dome of the Rock is sacred not only to Muslims, but also to Jews and Christians.
