Just broke my iSH 😭

I wanted to test tea on it, and found that tea was not in the pinned repos. So I went to /etc/apk/repositories and moved it upstream to Alpine/v2.23.

I wanted to move it to v2.20, but made a decision that broke my iSH.

I ❤️ tweaking and getting as much mileage out of #ish as possible!

You’ll have to install any terminal tool yourself.

`apk update`
`apk add git`
`apk add nano`

There’s certainly surprises…especially trying to paste text into Nano often crashes, especially any code or crazy chars.

You can access the Ish file system via the Files app in ios which and be lifesaver and also dangerous.

It does not hurt to have a foldable bluetooth keyboard (with phone stand) in your jacket pocket. If you’re someone that wants to code or do any significant writing cannot recommend that enough (speaking as someone with clumsy thumbs and sausage fingers)!

  • its placed on ice and a bunch of people wearing blade shoes try to bat around a small cylinder called a puck with sticks to try and get it into each other's nets (though a goaltender will try to prevent the puck from going into the net). a lot of fights happen. nobody knows what goalie interference is.
