@christineburns Yes, it's interesting to watch how the Conservatives seen to have completely lost that talent for self-criticism. They used to be very good at self critique, and they made many changes of course when things didn't work.

In her first two terms, Thatcher made many more changes of course than the #IronLady myth acknowledges. Thatcher was defenestrated when she lost that ability to think critically, and the party chose a new leader to refloat them off the #poll tax rocks.
