Desperate to defeat #SinnFéin & the #IrishVolunteers, on #ThisDayInHistory in 1916 #MartialLaw was declared in #Dublin. Officers with no legal training arranged kangaroo courts that executed civilians. Whitehall sought to bury the transcripts as they showed systemic negligence.
