My old Rescue 117 buddies flew over Helvick a few minutes ago and turned at just the right moment for a nice shot. Gorgeous machine, and I am eternally grateful that service exists after they lifted me off a mountain following a fall a few years ago.

🧗‍♀️ Sea Cliff Rescue is one of the core competencies of the #irishcoastguard

🏔️ Today we were exercising at Casana Rock in Howth.

🛟 This is a steep ground area we’ve undertaken many rescues and recoveries on before… 1/2 cont.

📟 This afternoon, we were tasked to assist @[email protected] with a missing persons investigation.

🔦 Extensive searches were conducted with nothing found.
