Doesn't seem to be *that* many #crimes TBH, and stats aren't much good without being compared against the population of each district - also main town centre area is obviously going to be on top, as its got the most people in it late at night, some of whom may have consumed #alcohol or #drugs and be more prone to impulsive behaviour?

I wouldn't say #Ipswich is that bad for #crime I've lived in worse places and the bulk of the violence is either between folk who know one another or if going to nightlife areas with heavy booze consumption, which I don't do these days (and 20 years ago it was just as sketchy at night if not worse, but if you keep your head down you are generally OK)

All #trafficLights in #Ipswich town centre failed today for a large part of the day.

There has been no statement to the media from #Suffolk County #Council or even the #Police !

It would be extremely unlikely that all the supplies from #UKPowerNetworks failed at the same time as they are from many different feeder pillars and substations - something bad must have happened to the controllers.

Although some #drivers claimed "traffic was flowing better", this will only be the case for dominant traffic flows, and #pedestrians would have struggled to find opportunities to cross the roads safely
