Falls ihr #Iotas als #Markdown-#Editor verwendet und auch gerade eure PDF-Exporte fehlschlagen:

  • der Entwickler hat den Bug bestätigt, er ist dran
  • Als Workaround ein Mal nach .odt exportieren, der PDF-Export sollte dann klappen

I find myself doing a lot of writing in #Nextcloud Notes. The interface looks nice and is responsive, and everything is synced to my local filesystem with Nextcloud Desktop Sync. And now that I have nextcloudcmd on my new Debian console-only laptop, I can work on the files from there too.

I can work on "notes" (anything with .md) on the local filesystem, in any app that can access those files, or in the GNOME Circle notes app #Iotas, which uses a SQLite database but offers first-class Nextcloud sync.

For notes, I'm using #Nextcloud Notes to sync and work in the browser, with the NextCloud Notes Android app and the #GNOME app #Iotas in desktop.

Iotas doesn't save notes as .md files. Instead it uses a SQLite database but is great exporting notes as PDF, ODT, HTML and MD.

I'm still keeping #QOwnNotes in the mix, but I haven't yet set up the Nextcloud desktop app to sync with my Linux system.

#OneCalendar, Iotas and #Thunderbird sync with Nextcloud without requiring extra apps.

#Iotas and #Nextcloud play very well together. About the only problem I'm having is when Nextcloud's apps strip out tabs and multiple spaces when I have them in a note/post for formatting.

@antoinechambertloir Ha, oui, tiens, je crois que tu mets indirectement le doigt sur un truc que j'aime vraiment bien avec #Iotas : ce mode un peu « hybride » par défaut, où on voit encore la syntaxe markdown en même temps que la mise en page effective est visible.

Comme je ne sais pas trop si je suis clair, voici un exemple :

Je commence à bien comprendre pourquoi cet outil est populaire.

Et en même temps… j'sais pas. J'ai du mal à accrocher pleinement.

Je crois qu'après avoir pris l'habitude de #NextcloudNotes et de ses clients officiel Android ainsi que #Iotas pour #GNOME, ben… ça manque un peu de fluidité, de légèreté.

De simplicité, quoi.

Je me sens un peu dépassé par la multiplication des options et des boutons dans tous les sens, je crois. 🤔
