As desirable as it may be, to have insurrection inciter & national security threat Trump already disqualified under Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment from running for & holding any public office in the United States:
Section 3 is NOT "self-executing" disqualifications, as Federalist-Society members Baude & Paulsen for whatever reasons misleadingly argue in their paper.
In fact Section 5 of the 14th Amendment establishes:
"The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article."

What would legally implement the disqualification of the conspirators of the Jan 6 insurrection is the application of 18 U.S.C. §2383, the codified spinoff of the 14th Amendment's Section 3 by federal prosecutors.
