A very cool find! I spotted this termite (Zootermopsis spp.) the other day with a little springtail (Cheirotoma spp.) riding along its back. Apparently those springtails are known to be phoretic, i.e. hitchhikers, on termites.

robtherunt🌱💚Just found this bee in my garden on the paving, looking very forlorn. Was walking a little bit, but a long way from any food source or shelter.
Moved it to a largish clump of red dead nettle (Lamium purpureum) which is in flower.
I think the bee is a hairy-footed flower bee (Anthophora plumipes) which the iRecord app seemed to agree - though need it to be positively identified by an expert.
Quite the floofy cutie! Hope it appreciated the move and survives.
