BookI'm reading the latest "...At The End" novel by Adam Silvera. The premise of the series is that a company can predict death and capitalises on this by informing the soon-to-be departed of their demise through a subscription service.
Seriously.
But that's not the whole story. This "End Day" premise is the basis of some heart-wrenching stories.
Anyway, in one scene, someone mentions a decker (one whomst hath been told they will croak today) died by choking on a spoonful of cinnamon powder.
Is that a thing? Do people do this irl? It sounds like one of those silly challenges from a few years ago.
