De shortlist van de International Booker Prize is er en Yang Shuang-zi's "Taiwan Travelogue" staat erop!! Allemaal duimen dat ze 'm nog gaat winnen ook. De Nederlandse vertaling "Reisdagboek Taiwan" wordt gemaakt door Silvia Marijnissen en mijzelf en we zijn bezig aan de laatste fase. Boek verschijnt later dit jaar bij Meulenhoff.

"Taiwan Travelogue" van Yang Shuang-zi is genomineerd voor de International Booker Prize! De jonge Japanse schrijfster Aoyama Chizuko reist in 1938 naar Taiwan, dan nog een Japanse kolonie, en wil graag het échte leven op het eiland ervaren.
De Engelse vertaling is van Lin King, de Nederlandse, werktitel "Reisdagboek Taiwan", wordt as we speak vertaald door Silvia Marijnissen en mijzelf.
