🚨 ADOPTION UPDATE:
The US visa experience in the Dominican Republic is truly something else. First, it’s centralized, so everyone in the country who wants a USA visa has to come here to this one building, and understandably that makes the scene quite a busy one.

ADOPTION UPDATE:
The medical results arrived at the embassy ahead of schedule!
This means we are able to go for our visa interview tomorrow first thing. If all goes well it’s possible we could even have our younger son’s visa in hand by the end of the day.
ADOPTION UPDATE:
We spent Tuesday at the passport office and our younger son now has the passport he needs to leave the country with us!
Wednesday was his visa-required medical exam and it took almost 6 hours, but he now has all the shots needed to enter the USA.
