Hello PixelFed!
After 910 posts and about 7k followers on Instagram, it feels a bit strange starting again from scratch—but also liberating. I’d love your advice on how best to connect and share my art practice here. I’m especially keen to connect with scientists, science lovers, and fellow artists who explore the intersection of art and science.
For a little introduction: I’m a London-based sculptor working at the intersection of art and science. I have a biochemistry degree from Oxford University, but for the last 20 years, I’ve been creating sculptures that bridge these two worlds. My work ranges from large public installations to smaller pieces for homes—or even wearable art.
Right now, I’m doing an artist residency with a vaccine and virology lab in Nashville, Tennessee. This wax sculpture of an antibody is part of that ongoing project.
I look forward to connecting with you all and exploring this new community.
