This thing will be an Intel Atom based fileserver with a near zero noise from it (I hope).
Motherboard: some Intel Atom motherboard with ITX formfactor and with 4 SATA interfaces, and gigabit Ethernet controller. PSU: some Chinese PSU which should emit 259W of power — enough for motherboard and 4 HDDs (I hope)

Все интересные лоты, добавленные в «Избранное» неделю назад, уже раскуплены, остались (пока) висеть только унылые платы с Intel Atom D2xxx, 1-2 Гб RAM на борту и с 1-2 SATA портами.
Насилу нашёл б/у Zotac IonITX-G-E с 4 SATA на борту, которую какой-то чувак выставил на продажу меньше суток назад и за приемлемую цену, и её ещё чудом не успели купить:drgn_hide:

Prereqs: Intel Atom N2800 1866 MHz and 2 Gb RAM.
Since there are no NetBSD builds of xray-core and v2raya — I spin up a FreeBSD VM inside the Qemu and without NVMM accelerator (not supported by my CPU). Execute these programs inside this VM — and the server still running and even doesn't overload
But @lazygamereviews could take a look at the smol-er, later alterative that is not dissimilar to that #shuttle #fanless #IntelAtom desktop:

@timixretroplays yeah, I guess this shows @rasteri build this before businesses started upgrading tech.
I wished DM&P / ICOP would increase production or that there was an easier way to get other #ix86 SBCs from like #VIA (remember when they made #CUP|s?) or some #embedded variants from #Intel or #AMD.
Cuz I was shure some #IntelAtom SoC's and #AMDGseries APUs do have #ISA support as they use quite older process nodes and microarchitectures.
But for a #MSDOS #RetroGaming system, that is quite a bottleneck to work on when it comes to #BareMetal.
#DOSBOX or similar do work well, but they don't provide the necessary I/O for a lot of use-cases.
Maybe you can drop in a different #Vortex86 which also has #ISA?

OFC that got scrapped with the end of FSB-based #LGA775 platforms & #DDR2 support in favour if #LGA1155 / #LGA1366 with integrated Northbridge as well as #IntelAtom-based #SoC's that can fire from 16 cores @ 31W TDP and Quadcores that barely sip 2W...
@EpicPawt I can recommend to take a look at #TinyCore and #BunsenLabs if you like some #smol #desktop #distro...
TinyCore is a #BusyBox / #Linux and @bunsenlabs is a nifty #Debian derivate which runs even on a #GMA500 / #Poulsbo / #IntelAtom Z-series system like the #VaioP11Z just fine despite using #llvmpipe for rendering...
