Free #linux laptops can be really useful to bring a full-featured web browser to people who are otherwise stuck on mobile.

Podle mě dobrá příležitost trochu pošťouchnout organizace, ať to trochu promoutnou - @irozhlas třeba;
Pak bychom mohli zájemcům altruisticky instalovat Linux na staré počítače, na kterých Windows už dodýchaly.

AD #fedifest, to by bylo pěkné, ale sejde se na něm asi tak pět lidí 😏 #Fedipivo by byl asi vhodnější formát.
Ad #installfest... Cpu každému Linux. Doslova. Má ho můj 5yo syn, 9yo dcera, ex (nechá si ho asi), nová, moje mamka, a všichni spokojení 😎 Takže jsem to rozšířil a teď instaluju náhodným lidem v okolí na noťasy, co by jinak šly do elektrod pádů. A hle - nejednou jsou zas použitelné. Zatím žádné požadavky na administraci.

So I got myself a couple of IBM PS/2 model P70 386[1] luggable computers. I see they're quite the fad in some corners of the Retroverse, so I thought I'd pull my usual shenanigans and install OS/2 on one. I went with version 2.11 which is probably the most lightweight version, while also being really beautiful. I'll document my travails in this thread..
