The #Island #InselderJugend, with 1.8-hectare in the #Spree #River in #Berlin, belongs to the #AltTreptow locality, near the #Plänterwald #forest. Originally a shallow reed-covered hill, the island was enlarged with rubble since 1860 and got in 1916 one of the first steelcompositebridges in Germany. A #recreationalarea during the #GDR, it continues to offer recreation today, i.a. as beach bar and a natural semiarid #meadow.

Ab 2024 findet im #SchlegelKulturClub in #Bochum die #InselDerJugend #Party immer am zweiten Freitag des Monats statt. Andere würden es eine #Ü40 Party nennen, aber sie nennen es die Insel der Jugend. Ich war am 12.04.2024 dort - Bild 3 + 4 zeigen mich in diesem wirklich tollen und faszinierenden Club, Bild 1 + 2 kurz vor dem Clubbesuch in einem Restaurant, das asiatische Küche anbietet. 🍣
