• #discord and other shitty #SingleVendor & #SingleProvider #SaaS creates #InformationBlackhole|s.

#IssueTracker and #TicketingSystem|s are way better means to report bugs.

• #Docukentation is key and users should be given accessible, step-by-step guides and easy troubleshooting help where needed.

The problem with garbage #SaaS #platforms like #Discord - beyond being an #InformationBlackhole - is that their nonchalant attitude towards #moderation (including absolutely indefensible content!) is only fueling #Cyberfascists that want to mandate #Govware like "#ChatControl" and other means to restrict #privacy.

• And that makes said platforms not just "#UsefulIdiots" but #accomplices in #Cyberfascism and #Cybercrime!

Cuz unlike some real #E2EE they do hold all the data and all the keys but choose to not act upon reports!

I don't deny the issue at hand; I just think that such a massive pile needs to be combed through better by using tags and prioritization. Even if that means one has split the backlog into half a dozen different baskets that read "feedback", "suggestion", "bug", "security", "ui/ux", "building", "l18n/i18n", "accessibility", "reproduceability", etc...

@GabeMoralesVR Personally, I think using #discord should disqualify one for work in #IT just like a recent conviction for #DUI disqualifies one for driving a school bus.
