Hello World!!

I have taken a month break from mastodon. I also close all of my accounts.

I decided to join #infosecexchange due to I like how @jerry runs things here on the server.

I am a huge technology enthusiast and love open-source platforms and applications.

I have been trying to use #FOSS applications on android and in general. If any of you have other alternatives to big tech for applications I am open for more suggestions.

Getting warnings that streaming.infosec.exchange is detected as C2 by some blocklists (microsoft?). Anyone else seeing this behavior? cc @jerry

Hey #Mastodon folks; Anyone have some insight?
I'm using #glitch on #infosecexchange.

Using the advanced web interface I swear I used to have it configured in a #tweetdeck-esque layout. Home Feed, Notifications a couple columns for following hashtags on topics, but now...

Whenever I log in now, I get a 'Notifications' column, and that's it.. The 2nd column resets to ask me preferences, options, etc. But I can't find any way to create multiple columns and save that layout?

While I fully support this message, I wonder how to do this with a shared account/team/org account? E.g in my case the @OSCo account?

Been “struggling” a bit with the what platform should I be on / keep. And although BlueSky has interesting people on its platform, it lacked a bit of the infosec stuff.

So deleted my account there and kept this one 😊 In the end I can only pay attention too so many things at the same time.
