Victorian teachers reject pay offer as statewide strike looms
The state government has offered teachers a 17 per cent pay rise over four years in an attempt to avoid next week's 24 hour statewide strike.
Staff at the University of Bristol are striking this week due to a below-inflation pay offer of 1.4%. This is the 17th consecutive below-inflation pay offer. University staff have not had a single pay offer that matches the rate of inflation since 2009!
