One of my least favorite things is something like this; this is a dual Xeon PICMG 1.3 SBC card for a very reasonable price. It even has an onboard Optane SSD.

I have no need for this SBC nor a backplane to use it with. But often times I pass on things like this only to need it later; and have to buy it for more than double what I found it for the first time.

I'd fear this thing would overheat in one of my backplane portables XD But if another project comes to mind relatively soon, I might have to just pull the trigger.
