The seat came loose after Flokito knocked the stool over while jumping off to somewhere else, because the big tabby is quite heavy now. The artist reappeared like this, uninvited, right when his artwork was being photographed! 😹

We went for a little walk with the cats today! Timmie has really really really really really been missing going outside, Sushi... not so much, she really doesn't seem to care. But we brought them both anyway. We've basically been walking Timmie on a leash in the corridor outside the apartment since we moved in, to prep him for going outside, but although there definitely has been some improvement in his skittishness, it doesn't seem likely he'll feel up to walking all the way downstairs soon. He's basically the definition of a scaredy cat when it comes to other people when he isn't in the house (for some reason he's okay with strangers in the house), so he would run back to the apartment every time someone would come too close. So today we just took them out in their carriers and then let them roam in a somewhat secluded area near the house. They loved it, although Sushi was done with it much sooner than Timmie, so I took her home while Timon stayed behind with Timmie. All in all a success, although I'm still nervous about how they'll behave if we run into other people, let alone people with a dog 😬

Today is technically the last holidays day, back to work tomorrow, today at home, a rainy day. I'm really tired - it was quite a full on holiday with so much walking and touring, that I feel I need a lazy day. Reminding myself that knitting this scarf is decluttering in its own way ( mother in law's yarn) and ended up putting on "cat TV" with some really colourful birds. #knitting #indoorcats ( Butter Cat is now having a bath and not being photogenic)
