#Quebec’s new political divide involves two opposing sides: 1 leans “ #liberal ,” more reserved on state intervention & supportive of #IndividualFreedoms, and 1 leans “ #authoritarian ,” favours state intervention & is inclined 2 restrict individual freedoms in name of majority.

Political parties express one tendency or the other. This is particularly the case w/ the #CAQ government, whose policies, attitudes & actions put it on the authoritarian side of the spectrum.
