While many people know this as fact, to many people this is brand new information. Second, this podcast is a statement about the need to shift how we talk and label. It is a linguistic shift. In a world where human bodies are constantly re-labelled (e.g. in terms of gender, disability, etc.) all non-Indigenous Americans enjoy a world in which colonial labels placed on stolen Indigenous lands, waters and spaces have become permanent and enduring.
