@mnordmeyer @indiewebadmin Can you elaborate on this comment? Before the update to Mastodon 4.6.0, light mode was working for me on #indiewebsocial, but now it is dark regardless of what I select. If light mode was broken for you before the update, that makes me wonder if there's some sort of user-specific state that affects this, and whether that might help us find a user-controlled way to fix it now.
@indiewebadmin As of today it's much worse than it was before. The truncated names and handles are back on mobile. The entire site is now displaying in dark mode, even though I have light mode selected. Speaking as a paying supporter of #indiewebsocial since 2022, I would like to request that you please find a way to support the standard Mastodon web UI. It works great on desktop and mobile and doesn't break like this every time a new version of Mastodon is released.
@apps Holos discover continues to impress me. I hope you all find a way to turn this into a #FASP service so admins at servers like #indiewebSocial can integrate it into our server's search....

Very well deserved. I feel more assured that #newsmast as a good steward of the #indiewebSocial community was a very solid steward, and they are doing great work for the #OpenSocialWeb.
