Today I would like to highlight the newest review of the first and foundational book in my quasi-series, "Prince Ewald the Brave".
Excerpt: "It was also interesting how different people viewed others which would lead you to think one thing and then you get a different point of view that turns those ideas on their head a bit. There's definitely some excellent world building going on here and also well thought out point of view changes to advance the plot as needed."
I write ensemble casts because that's pretty much the only thing I know how to do comfortably, and would face attention span issues if sticking too long with a single POV. As per the prologue of my newest, I also prefer to highlight how even a "singular hero" can really represent a team effort supported by people who deserve mentioning. But it's great to think that from a reader's perspective I'm also making interesting use of what would otherwise be considered a narrative choice.
