I spent most of my weekend at #indiewebcampbrighton. my first one. met so many lovely and kind geeks and people who love the idea of a free and open web as much as i do. lots of food for thought and one specific outcome: my first personal website: scoutaloud.net. sure, there's not much there now, but wait until i get my personal insta going :D
There are so many things left to do:

Dave is blah blah blah.

I had a wonderful time this weekend at #IndieWebCampBrighton - it was so energising to be surrounded by kind people. 💚

I need to write up the event and give my thoughts on the sessions. There's not enough characters to tag everyone!

I worked on adding a privacy policy page to my blog yesterday, and I had fun changing the layout of my footer. I'm still not 100% happy with it, but it is a step in the direction I want: my blog to look like a sketchbook ☺️

#IndieWebCampBrighton was amazing I had the most excellent time and everyone was so welcoming.
Indie web camp was fun today. #DailyImages2024 69/366.

Completely overwhelmed by day 1 of #IndieWebCampBrighton. Amazing turnout, of mostly first-time attendees, engaged in diverse discussions that examined subjects like how to memorialise a personal website after death and sharing pain points of hosting, writing and syndicating content online. Clearly there’s an appetite for the indie web, and for making it more accessible, too.
A great first day at #IndieWebCampBrighton with some really interesting sessions and people

Day one of #IndieWebCampBrighton was great!

It was like having my RSS reader come to life, what with lovely people like @maggie, @Edent, and @anarodrigues there too!
