First day back to work after the break, and of course, I had 99 problems (in the form of having 99 invoices to process, ha ha). But they're done, and hopefully there won't be too many invoices to deal with tomorrow. Hopefully.

Of course, I've had gratuitous amounts of caffeine to find the focus to get through what I managed to get through, so my brain is like 'we're laser! let's do things!', which um. Body says no, ha ha. Like, the thing I really wanna do is defur the stairs, because it's been a bit and they're kind of foggy with the fur. Even with good tools, it takes a bit of welly, and [welly not found (legit, where are my wellies?! xD)].

Maybe I can turn some of the focus-not-energy into writing some ISG bits to poke with. I didn't get much done last week because kids off school/me off work, but that's fine too. We're still slumbering a bit, though hopefully spring/soon/etc.

Happy Friday, for those who celebrate. xD I got the work thing done, the children aren't on fire, so. Can't complain overmuch, ha ha.

Today I have been shaking a stick at my friends trying to see if anyone is interested in joining the Indie Sellers Guild. I don't have a lot of friends or followers across the internet, so smol audiences. *chuckles* But I believe the guild is a force for good, and I want to do my bits to get people to engage with it. Spin spin spin, in a spin. xD Had an ISG meeting last night, and just had another one. I think we've got the new structure for the Discord figured out, which is yay. Kristi and I still need to put our heads together for website stuff...

Oh yeah, I'm titled now. Community Organizer for the Indie Sellers Guild. I'm really happy to be mucking in and getting stuff in place so we can, hopefully, make a more welcoming place for members of the guild current and future. I mentioned it to a friend earlier today, and she commented that it's a good use of my trauma/experience from [[website we met on]]. And I mean, it totally is. I was absolutely able to draw on that experience for some of this process.

But yeah, brain is soup. *chuckles* But it's soup for a good reason.

Past that, just the usual gaming and lumping. I'm not sure what I want to play, so I'm walking across a planet in 'No Man's Sky'. Well, that's currently 'vaguely swimming across an ocean', but same thing. Whether I get bored of it and finally fly to my destination remains to be seen, ha ha.

Currently sitting here post-work doing... more work. *laughs* And by that, I'm trying to prep for the next Indie Sellers Guild core team meeting. It's about how to set up the community side of things, which... that's me, y'all. So trying to get stuff out of my head and shaped in a way that is useful for other people to plink off of, as well as how we want things laid out for volunteers and contributors to help in the area.

Childing survived a full day back at school. They were out of classrooms for a lot of it, but it's still a good step in the right direction. They said they didn't have a very good day, but they're definitely in better spirits than they were before. Probably helps it's Friday, of course.

Past that, nothing fancy for the weekend. Just chilling and trying to un-exhaust (hahahahaha). It'll be whatever it is.

Oh snap, existing persists. It snowed overnight, which was lovely to wake up and see. It was less lovely to have to go out in, but at least the main roads were more or less clear. Spouse had a dental appointment, so. We came right back when that was done, and he's only left the house since to take his mother her groceries (we get them delivered, so it's easy enough for him to take them around).

But tomorrow is Tuesday, and it means back to work. Bleh! *laughs* I don't know how bad it's going to be, but it'll be whatever it is. At least I can pace myself as I see fit, and don't have to deal with people -- the benefits of being work from home 99.99% of the time.

What else... getting excited about the Indie Sellers Guild. A relaunch is in the works, and I'm looking forward to helping with it. Not too much; Kristi knows I want to be careful to not bite off too much, and spouse will certainly be watching out for me. Because he knows I do that. *laughs* But I do look forward to contributing, because it's a super worthwhile organisation, and I want it to succeed.

Right. Back to lump.

I want to share this #KofiShop from a fellow member of the #IndieSellersGuild, because he's recently started selling these door hangers requesting (or demanding, if you like) that no one enter the room before putting on a mask. (He's said that you can message him about getting them for less if money is tight.)

It was originally made for medical appointments at lax facilities, but you can really use it anywhere.
