It is the 75th anniversary of the adoption of Indian Constitution, and this falls at a very critical juncture for the country. India at its formation followed a secular, democratic Nehruvian ideology. The ruling #BJP is all out to replace the constitution with its hidutva ideology. As a first step, they tried to get rid of the words #secular and #socialist from the constitution. But the Supreme Court just twatted it.

Wish the constitution to survive these assaults and remain the leading light for #India.

We should have never amended our Constitution in the first place! The "Aya Ram, Gaya Ram" conundrum was for the People to deal with, by not electing such opportunists again (and by punishing the parties which accommodated them)!
Instead, we got enamoured by the highly problematic #2PartySystem of the US Empire and amended the #IndianConstituion to recognise the concept of Political Party, as if it were an oversight by people like #Ambedkar.
