Another one from El Bueno roasters: "Lime Wired"

A whole lot of bitterness with higher extractions. Thankfully there is an equally prominent citrus note but this one tastes best with low extraction and larger grind size. Doing that, it tastes of milk chocolate with a mellow citrus acidity.

the brew smells sweet.

first sip is slightly sweet with some acidity. a slight tea like mild bitterness. the acidity reads like grapes with more sips. very mellow. wonder how this will do with less agitation.

brew smells faintly like cloves and cardamom.

first sip is mostly bitter with a tiny hint of citrus like acidity. afterwards bitterness fades a bit and the citrus note becomes more prominent. the bitterness remains steady until the end. might try some things to lower the bitterness later.

A naturals robusta from Naivo this time. Didn't really have a good time with their bewild robusta last year (https://pixelfed.social/p/enyantiomer/790143518047647332)

Though the brew smells floral and mildly spicy, the taste is mostly mildly bitter with hints of cardamom and nutmeg. There's also a burnt sort of sweetness which isn't pleasant. Not my cup of tea yet again this year.

brew smells spicy and a bit floral.

taste is mildly bitter upfront. tastes a bit like cardamom, nutmeg. bitterness lingers unpleasantly but reduces with sips. theres a sickly burnt sweetness in background.

like last years bewild robusta, this is not my cup of tea
